Approach
Philosophy
Dr. Fox believes in the importance of delivering individualized treatment to patients. She develops a plan tailored to each client’s needs, based on an extensive and thorough history and exam, that includes chiropractic care and possibly additional therapies.
The spine has been called “the original information super-highway.” The vertebrae of the spine protect the spinal cord and all the nerves that supply every muscle, organ, tissue and cell in the body. When the bones that make up the spine are misaligned, chiropractors refer to the condition as a subluxation. Subluxations prevent proper motion which can lead to pain and muscle spasms. The reason? They prevent normal function and communication of the nerves. This nerve interference leads to dysfunction and disease “downstream,” at the muscle or organ the nerves supply.
Chiropractors are the only doctors specifically trained to assess the spine and extremities for subluxations and remove them by applying a specific force into the misaligned joint. This gentle application of force removes the interference and aligns the bones to restore proper function and communication. Once the interference is removed, symptoms related to many conditions are alleviated.
In addition to treating pain, Dr. Fox is trained to assess areas of dysfunction in the spine and extremities even before symptoms appear. By restoring alignment and motion, she can help your body adapt to current and future stressors before painful symptoms arise.

When you are able to sleep well, you not only feel better, your days are richer — more productive, more rewarding, and more fun!
Counteract Aging
Trauma and injuries can cause the spine and joints to go out of alignment, in turn affecting muscle function, and left untreated these issues build up over time, creating a decrease in range of motion and leading to pain. Arthritis is another cause of pain and restricted motion as we age. Such issues can lead to problems with balance and coordination. Even standing and walking can become difficult.
Through gentle manipulations and specially designed stretches and exercises Dr. Fox can help seniors experiencing these symptoms regain balance and coordination, regain range of motion, and feel a significant reduction in pain.
